Welcome to GuideGuru. These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the GuideGuru platform, including our website, listings, customer accounts, business accounts, Member+ subscriptions, promotions, rewards, Guru Games campaigns and related services.
By using GuideGuru, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you should not use the platform.
GuideGuru is operated by Glamrock Trading (Pty) Ltd, Registration Number 2022/209936/07, in South Africa.
GuideGuru currently supports the following account types:
Different features, benefits and responsibilities apply to each account type.
You must be at least 18 years old or have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use GuideGuru.
By creating an account, you confirm that the information you provide is true, accurate and complete.
Users are responsible for keeping login details secure and for all activity that happens under their account.
GuideGuru aims to keep the platform available and reliable. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
The platform may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, technical faults, hosting issues, third-party service interruptions or circumstances beyond our control.
Business listings are submitted or approved by business owners, representatives or GuideGuru administrators.
Businesses are responsible for ensuring that their listing information, prices, images, contact details, links, offers and descriptions are accurate and lawful.
GuideGuru may edit, reject, suspend or remove listings that are inaccurate, misleading, inappropriate, unlawful or harmful to the platform.
GuideGuru may display deals, promotions, rewards, QR-based offers, Guru Stamps and Guru Games campaigns.
Promotions are subject to availability, business participation, campaign rules and any expiry dates displayed.
GuideGuru may remove or suspend promotions where there is suspected fraud, abuse, incorrect information or non-compliance with platform rules.
GuideGuru may suspend or terminate accounts where there is suspected abuse, including:
Rewards, discounts or benefits obtained through abuse may be cancelled.
GuideGuru is a discovery, listing and promotional platform. Listed businesses are independent third parties.
GuideGuru is not responsible for the quality, safety, availability, pricing, service levels or conduct of listed businesses.
Users deal with listed businesses at their own discretion.
GuideGuru may link to external websites, booking platforms, Google Maps, social media pages, payment providers and third-party services.
GuideGuru is not responsible for the content, availability, policies or practices of third-party services.
Certain GuideGuru features may require payment, including Member+ subscriptions and Business Pro subscriptions.
Fees, billing cycles, renewal rules and cancellation terms may differ by product or service.
Users are responsible for ensuring that payment details are valid and that subscriptions are cancelled before renewal if they no longer wish to continue.
The GuideGuru name, branding, logos, platform design, software, graphics, layouts and original content belong to GuideGuru or its licensors.
Users may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute or commercially exploit GuideGuru content without written permission.
Businesses retain ownership of content they provide but grant GuideGuru permission to display, edit and promote that content on the platform and related marketing channels.
GuideGuru may suspend, restrict or terminate access where a user or business violates these terms, abuses the platform, fails to pay applicable fees, submits misleading information or acts in a way that may harm GuideGuru, users or businesses.
To the fullest extent allowed by South African law, GuideGuru will not be liable for indirect losses, lost profits, loss of opportunity, business interruption, data loss or damages arising from use of the platform.
Where liability cannot be excluded, GuideGuru's liability will be limited to the amount paid directly to GuideGuru by the affected user during the previous twelve months.
GuideGuru may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Updated terms will be published on this page.
Continued use of the platform after updates means you accept the revised terms.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
